Our Organizational Structure

AWAKE is a youth-led initiative and humanitarian effort of Humanity in Unity (HIU), a non-profit educational organization. To find out more about Humanity In Unity and its work, visit www.humanityinunity.org.

AWAKE is a volunteer-run movement with young people serving at all levels of its organizational structure. Youth volunteers are serving to organize events, create newsletters, manage the volunteer team, coordinate humanitarian projects, establish collaborations with other organizations, market AWAKE and much more. AWAKE’s leadership team is also comprised of young people with two co-leads, who manage the overall organization of the movement as well as a Council, which serves as the youth board ensuring that all our programs, events, and projects are in alignment with the Vision and Mission of AWAKE.
